(More customer reviews)Though this is meant for a patio, deck, yard, etc. I purchased it for my kitchen. My dog was constantly in our standard kitchen can - she could just stick her nose under the lid. The kind with a pedal and flip top lid are no good for us either: I was always tipping the can over, etc. Additionally the kitchen size bags fill up very fast with a family of 5.
This fit under my counter nicely (measure though for your own use; my counters are unique!) and the dog can NOT get into it OR topple it over - it is VERY sturdy and very attractive. The lid keeps odors at bay and the dog is pouting, as she has no more "nighttime raids" in her future.
