Worth, TX and use it almost every day - the hose pulls out and reels back in very easy and the hose is so light - even when I pull it out to almost the whole length. (More customer reviews)I've used this hose for over a year out on my deck. I like to drink out of the hose when I'm watering my garden and so I got this hose for that reason. I'm delighted with it. I have many kinds of hoses on the farm here but this is my favorite. I'm in a wheelchair and the smaller diameter makes for easy handleing and a small "bump" when I roll over it. I have never had it kink. Ever. After a summer/winter/summer all outdoors I can wipe the surface and it looks brand new. No signs of any wear. Get this hose and I think you'll be very pleased. If you let your kids play with a garden hose they WILL drink out of it. Better safe than sorry. A nice product.

(More customer reviews)This hose is "very" heavy. Was very hard for me to uncurl. For a heavy duty hose it "does" have a problem with kinks. And once kinked it has a tendency to kink very easy in the same spot. I would recommend putting the hose in the sun for awhile before trying to uncurl it. I say this because I used this in early spring here in the northeast, and maybe the cool weather made it harder to manage. But, because of the weight, I wouldn't recommend this hose if you will have to move it around a lot.

Coil Hose Holder With Brackets 24In Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this product to hold my 50' coil hose. It arrived with no manufacturing defects, and appears to be mechanically sturdy and painted properly to withstand prolonged exposure to the weather. Also, it's a piece of cake to install with the supplied brackets. In my case, I mounted it to a cement block wall, so I used some cement wall anchors - again very easy.
This product is probably large enough to hold a 200' coil hose, because my 50' coil hose occupies maybe 25% of the volume of this product. This situation looks a little odd to me, and since I bought it to improve how my patio looks, it didn't work out ideally.
Also, there is a design issue based on the fact that each of the bars in this basket are running approximately the same direction as adjacent bars and there are no "cross-members". The result is that the weight of the water in my coil hose causes the coils to poke through the bottom of the basket about three or four inches. If there were cross-members this wouldn't happen. I'm in the process of cutting and painting a small steel screen to put in the bottom of this thing to prevent my coil hose from partially falling through the bottom of the basket.

(More customer reviews)The Gardena system of hose / faucet / accessory connectors works very well. Two years ago, a neighbor introduced me to the Gardena system and raved about how well it worked. He regularly uses various connectors, valves, attachments, etc. and is totally satisfied. Based on his recommendation, I went out to my local home and garden store and bought a full compliment.
The system works as advertised. During the spring and summer when I'm working in the yard, the Gardena system is a pleasure to use. They don't leak, make attaching sprayers, waterers, etc. very easy, and appear to be fairly sturdy. They appear to be made of high quality plastic which has lasted me for over 1-1/2 years' moderate use. I do wonder about the long term durability of the plastic connectors and valves but, given that they are fairly cheap, I can replace them if they break. Not to mention, now that they are carried on Amazon.com, I don't even have to get in the car to get more! What a deal...

(More customer reviews)I have had two of these for a few years. They are extremely durable, but there is a major design flaw.
The inside has plastic ribs design to help strengthen the containers.
This is where the problem is. When you fill trash bags up inside the container, the bags expand and the trash
nestles into the grooves. This makes pulling a full bag of trash out of the the container a major struggle. If
your trash bag is on the thin side, it will tear several times and you will be wrestling, tugging, pulling, twisting
and yanking with everything you have.
The other part of this is that the larger of the two openings is smaller than the overall width of the inside. Therefore the bag is bigger inside and all expanded and caught up inside the inner ribs. I dread Trash Tuesdays because of the pain that it has become to remove the trash.
One other note, the containers features very deep graining which keeps the item from looking like cheap plastic, but beware, this also means the dirt settles in. The only way I have found to truly clean these is with a power washer.

I love the tube winder, it makes it much easier to put away and store. It works very well, has enough pressure to do anything I need with it and starts very easy.
For the money this has been a excellent purchase for the homeowner. I am not sure if it would be tough enough for commercial use, but for the homeowner it is perfect. It was a very good purchase!

(More customer reviews)This is a very nice product for its intended use (albeit one that is rather similar to many others marketed elsewhere). However, please bear in mind a couple of subtleties that may not be obvious from the item description:
(1) The length of the hose is measured at its theoretically full extension. However, the hose never actually reaches this full extension because of elastic resistance (i.e. the very same "spring" effect which is the reason you presumably bought the hose) and torsion along the length of the hose as it is stretched. My experience is that you lose approximately 25% of the hose's length to these two effects. The only way to beat this is by making sure that the hose's rated length is that much LONGER than you need.
(2) Make sure that you have the appropriate adapter permitting you to attach the hose to your faucet. Designer faucets, faucets with hose attachments, imported faucets, and outdoor faucets all may have trouble working with this hose out of the box.
