(More customer reviews)I bought this product to hold my 50' coil hose. It arrived with no manufacturing defects, and appears to be mechanically sturdy and painted properly to withstand prolonged exposure to the weather. Also, it's a piece of cake to install with the supplied brackets. In my case, I mounted it to a cement block wall, so I used some cement wall anchors - again very easy.
This product is probably large enough to hold a 200' coil hose, because my 50' coil hose occupies maybe 25% of the volume of this product. This situation looks a little odd to me, and since I bought it to improve how my patio looks, it didn't work out ideally.
Also, there is a design issue based on the fact that each of the bars in this basket are running approximately the same direction as adjacent bars and there are no "cross-members". The result is that the weight of the water in my coil hose causes the coils to poke through the bottom of the basket about three or four inches. If there were cross-members this wouldn't happen. I'm in the process of cutting and painting a small steel screen to put in the bottom of this thing to prevent my coil hose from partially falling through the bottom of the basket.
