(More customer reviews)This is a good, wide snow pusher. On concrete and asphalt, the snow has to be recent, powdery snow. Heavy wet snow, and snow with ice base is too heavy to be pushed; the metal edge will not break up an ice base. Also, I am over 6' tall, and the angle that the shovel makes with the ground is too high. Therefore, the pushing edge constantly digs into the cement/asphalt. I have to push with the handle at the height of my thighs so that the metal edge does not dig in. Not a big deal, because this pusher moves a lot of snow under the right conditions. This is definitely NOT a snow shovel. For decks (wood and otherwise), I would recommend a pusher without the metal edge. I found an 24" wide plastic pusher without the metal edge at a local hardware store.
