(More customer reviews)These bins are great for sorting recycling items, and 4 bins are just right for glass, cans, plastic and paper. We keep ours in the garage, and they stack neatly so as not to take up too much floor space. The hinged covers stay up as you're filling the bin so you have both hands free to toss items in them. They're a convenient size, large enough to accommodate 3-4 weeks worth of recyclables for our 2-person family (provided you crush the cans and plastic bottles), yet small enough to easily transport in our van or truck to the recycling center. Easy to clean - just hose out. Great bargain, too, as similar bins cost 1 1/2 to twice as much at retail stores. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them highly. The only drawback might be that they are all the same plain color (gray & black), instead of being brightly colored in different colors like some other sets we've seen, but the brightly colored ones come in a set of only 3 for about the same price as this one does for 4. We label each bin with what goes in there so there is no need for color differentiation, and in fact we prefer the monochromatic plain color scheme.
