(More customer reviews)I recently bought a house for the main reason to be able to have a garden. I'm spending considerable time and effort to make sure everything is organic. I want to collect rainwater as well. But then started thinking if I distribute that water with a hose full of chemicals, aren't I defeating the purpose? I did a lot of research, and was shocked to learn how many harmful chemicals are in your regular hose. There really aren't that many safe options out there. This Aqua Pure is one of them. I also looked at marine grade hoses, and there is one called Gator something too. Another option is pure rubber hoses, but I think they are heavy and some people have a sensitivity to latex. This is the only one I could really find reviews on, and I can't remember now, but there was something about the marine hoses that I didn't like either (maybe they would kink?). Anyway, I got this one about a month ago and have used it a lot to water my newly sown grass. It does not have any odor and I did taste the water and it didn't taste like "hose water" (I used to like that taste when I was a kid, now I know it was due to poisons!). It has kinked once or twice but I have been moving it a LOT so I'm not unhappy with that, since I compare it to my sister who was watering her new sod and didn't buy a neverkink and has it kink all the time. It seems very sturdy, it doesn't seem heavy, there is nothing to complain about. So I am happy I spent the extra money to buy something that will continue on with my goal of an organic garden.
