(More customer reviews)Well this is an ok device, but the spike isn't long enough to be really useful. It needs to be about 6" or 8" longer to really hold its footing in most applications. I had to go to the hardware store and buy a 24" long snug-fitting piece of pipe that I drove into the ground and then put this inside it to keep it from pulling out of the ground. Once I did that, it worked well, but it would have been great if it were designed better from the beginning.
