(More customer reviews)I ordered this shovel way back on January 3rd (2009), waited almost a year to receive and when it arrived (December 18 2009), it was put to use. At first it would clean all the way down to the pavement but now, on Christmas Eve, the plastic is worn while the metal wear strip is practically virgin. That's because the genius who designed the shovel put the strip on the INSIDE of the shovel not the UNDERSIDE where it belongs and where it would be touching the pavement FIRST. I've found that in order to have the wear strip meet the pavement first, the angle needs to be steep. Had I realized that the wear strip is on the inside and not the underside, I would have never ordered it. I wanted a 27" wide shovel with a wear strip and was having a difficult time finding one locally. Now I'm stuck with a shovel that doesn't clean down to the pavement because the strip is in the wrong place. I am very disappointed with this product.
