(More customer reviews)We have had several hose trucks/hose reels over the years. We like this one better than most. The connection point where the garden hose connects to the reel is one of the best I have seen. It allows for smooth curling of the hose around the reel without kinking or bending the hose. There are two things I would do differently if I designed the truck. The front of the hose truck has "U" shaped metal tubing that rests on the surface to help stableize the unit. This is not a good design because it allows contact with the surface which will wear the paint off the metal and cause the metal to rust. Ruber bumpers would help with that problem. The wheels are mounted using nuts and bolts through some thin metal tubing. If the cart is moved much at all this will be a weak spot. Thicker tubing and a solid rod from one wheel to the other would solve the problem.
